Releasing the Upper body
Neck, shoulders and upper back

Sunday 21th July
10-12

@ The Sunflower Centre
Brockley

£25

In this workshop, we will focus on releasing and mobilising the area of the upper body, that includes the neck, upper back and shoulders.
By doing so, we will bring more space and lightness to the area.
This will help create space for the breath to flow better in the upper thoracic cage and the ribs.
We will start on the floor with a specifically designed sequence of somatic movements inspired by the SATYA practice as taught by Tias Little. We will aim at freeing up fascia and releasing tension and fatigue from the body- especially the upper body.
There will also be sequence of Asanas to further open and also stabilise the joints.
We'll finish with a deep relaxation and meditation.
And as always I will bring  a little vegan homemade snack to end the session.

At the end of the class, your upper body may feel lighter, more relaxed and more open for the breath, fluids and energy to travel more freely.

Open to everyone, all levels, all bodies, and ages.

Releasing and stabilising the lower back and hips

Saturday 10th of august
1-3pm

@ The Sunflower Centre
Brockley

£25

In this workshop we will focus on releasing tension accumulated in the lower back and hips, freeing up the lower body, but we will aslo work at creating stability as well to the area.
This will create more space and mobility to the lower back, hips and also legs.
Since everything is linked in the body, you might also find more freedom in other apparently unrelated areas too.

The session will begin on the floor with a specifically designed sequence of gentle somatic movements inspired by the SATYA practice as taught by Tias Little. This is to free up the area, release fatigue and tension.
We will then move on to a sequence of Asanas to stabilise the lower back and hips.
The class will end with a deep relaxation and some meditation.
I'll bring a small homemade vegan snack to share before we all go back to our activities.

Open to everyone, all levels, all bodies, and ages.
